Description:  The Senior Web Producer position is a member of the Internet Services team within various business operations group.  The team consists of staff that manages operations, design, project management, development and support for ten websites. This position will focus on the content development, support, production and maintenance aspects of our websites.   The Sr. Web Producer position is a hands-on technical position that will own and manage the front end web development, production processes, and delivery of all outward facing Web content for ten websites.  The Sr. Web Producer will work with a variety of staff members, departments and project teams to create, maintain, organize and post content to websites. The Senior Web Producer will be responsible for performing front end web development, managing content, performing and overseeing daily production website updates, managing multiple projects and responding to customer requests in accordance with the Internet Services service level agreement. This entails producing web sites, sections of sites, individual pages, and page elements to achieve clear delivery of messages and desired user actions. This position will also serve as the technical liaison between the business operations group and the technical support group within the department.  The ideal candidate should be able to work under pressure well and manage multiple projects at once. Responsibilities: Develop page layouts, individual pages and page elements for ten websites. Perform manual and WCM content and page updates. Perform front end web application development and design. Follow best practice guidelines and protocols for day to day operations. Work closely customers to ensure quality, clear organization and consistency of content for web pages and emails. Oversee daily web production processes and delegate web updates and postings to staff members. Perform unit and quality assurance testing on all websites, applications and systems. Provide web support to internal and external customers. Troubleshoot and provide website-related technical support to internal and external users. Assist staff designer in development of website layout and applicable styles. Manage multiple projects with competing deadlines and resources. Manage departmental change and version control processes. Manage department systems installations and implementations, including working weekend and evening shifts as needed. Develop requirements, detail design and use case documentation, project plans and timelines for projects. Research new technologies and provide recommendations on technologies to be used in new and existing websites. Produce style guides, referential and "how to" help documentation for end users. Assist in other departmental and corporate projects and objectives as needed. Requirements:  Five years plus in a front end web development role. Five years plus managing web content updates and delivery. Seven years hands on experience hand-coding HTML and CSS. Expert Knowledge of: HTML, Java Script, CSS, XHTML. Intermediate knowledge of object-oriented scripting language (JSP, ASP, PHP). Basic/Intermediate knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator. Strong understanding of Web production and deployment principles. Understanding of Web best practices, standards, and information architecture. Proven strong written & oral communication skills.
